...whether or not I made an error in deciding to leave the BBS.

My original thinking was that it was necessary if I were allowing somebody online (who I've never even met!) upset me to such a degree that I had to be chastised by a mod. Me! Little Miss Anal-retentive-rule-follower!

But now I'm asking myself if this butt-wipe poster is worth leaving behind 8 1/2 years worth of online and offline friendships.

I dunno. Guess I'll have to think about this some more. Going through "TrekBBS withdrawls" is tough. :o

Good-natured Realist (GR)

The good-natured realist is a warm-hearted, helpful personality. He does his work conscientiously and has a pronounced organising talent. He often feels he is committed to traditional values. The family in particular is extremely important to the good-natured realist. His greatest pleasure is making himself useful and taking care of other people. But he does not like pushing himself to the fore; he prefers to fulfil his tasks out of the limelight. The good-natured realist is a real workaholic; he is very reliable and nothing is too much for him when it is a question of completing a project. Thoroughness, conscientiousness and sense of duty are his strongest points. He prefers established and familiar situations to new and unknown situations.

In dealing with others, the good-natured realist is considerate and obliging; he is always happy to put aside his own requirements in the interest of his family and friends. His home is mostly very well cared-for, cosy and tidy. His perfectionism on the one hand and his aversion to delegating tasks on the other hand often lead to him taking on too much both professionally and privately. He cannot stand discord; conflicts make him very unhappy. One could almost describe him as being harmony-addicted - and this sometimes leads to him strongly neglecting himself and his own wishes because he is unable to bring himself to put up a fight.

The good-natured realist dreams of a stable and trusting relationship for life. Marriage and family are very important to him. He takes care of his partner attentively and lovingly and puts up with a lot for a harmonious relationship. He is also a loyal and reliable friend. However, he can be very hurt if his interpersonal commitment is taken for granted for too long.

FDA OKs First Fibromyalgia Treatment
AP
Posted: 2007-06-21 16:57:03
WASHINGTON (AP) - A Pfizer Inc. drug won expanded federal approval Thursday as the first treatment for fibromyalgia, a mysterious syndrome marked by muscle pain and fatigue.

The Food and Drug Administration action means Lyrica becomes the first drug that can be marketed specifically as a treatment for adults with fibromyalgia. Patients currently make so-called "off label" use of pain medications, antidepressants, muscle relaxants and sleep aids to treat the condition. Exercise and applying heat also can help.

Fibromyalgia typically affects women, striking them with long-lasting or chronic pain, as well as muscle stiffness and tenderness, according to the FDA. An estimated 3 million to 6 million people in the United States are affected each year.

You Are Likely A Fourth Born

At your darkest moments, you feel angry.
At work and school, you do best when your analyzing.
When you love someone, you tend to be very giving.

In friendship, you don't take the initiative in reaching out.
Your ideal jobs are: factory jobs, comedy, and dentistry.
You will leave your mark on the world with your own personal philosophy.

The jobs part is all wrong, though. :D

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

4. I have all my Calvin and Hobbes books memorized.

6. I'm supposedly related to Wyatt Earp on my dad's side.

**********************************************************

1. Grab the nearest book.

5. Don’t you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual"
book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it!
Just pick up whatever is closest.
6. Tag five people.

"There was someone here. I didn't imagine it; I didn't!"

"All right." Gently, Kirby laid a hand on Jo's shoulder, concerned by the trembling.
